feeling the pressure....

Okay....I asked for it.

Finally - someone is reading my blog. (yahoo!) ---but now I have a WHOLE NEW dilemna --now I feel pressure to make sure that there's something in this blog worth reading! argh.

And, what I may feel is worthwhile reading - to someone else may be considered boring, rambling, drivel. double argh.

Okay - someone recently said that I radiate an upbeat, infectious personality. I replied that it was just a figleaf of her imagination. pressure. triple argh.

And....to top it all off --I have a splinter in my finger that is driving me absolutely batty ---but I don't DARE get out that needle to assist in the "de-splintering" process. (refer to previous post). quadruple argh.

okay...gotta go research some material.....

I freaked out last night over some a lost form that I can have replaced - so now the needle thing, doesn't seem that bad, right? :o)

Other people's blogs are never boring. Would you be bored looking through someone's windows if they left the curtains open? Thought not :-) Blogging's the same thing - it's taking all the curtains and blinds off your windows and then living your life. There are bits of your life that you let people see, and there are bits that you don't let people see.

I've been blogging for about 18 months now and I still don't think I've found my voice!

Welcome to the blogging world, from a seasoned blogger (I've been blogging since 1996... Before the word blog existed!)

The best way to drive traffic your way, if that's your goal, is to be active on other blogs, and ask questions on yours.

Fluff is good too! Really, be yourself, and share what you are comfortable with!

I'll be back...

Today I was going to do an entry about having my car tyres changed and ended up with something about a psychedelic goat.

I'm not sure if its interesting or weird, but its still fun.

Honey! You've got kids. That is all the material we need most of the time! I'll be posting tonight on the trials and tribulations of a 14 year old, not allowed to date, rule changes and why boys can't call her but they can call her 8 & 5 yr old sisters. AAhhh. Calgon take me away!

PS - I'm here from Dlynne
