Things that brought me freedom today:

1.) Discovering that I indeed can have good support in a bra without it being a pinchy, jabby, underwire.

2.) Walking into my appointment with my very own cup of Raspberry Chai Latte and not worrying about who was going to be offended by it.

3.) Painting with abandon.

4.) Enjoying a Reeses Peanut Butter cup not caring how many layers were being added to my hips. (one day soon, the miniature Halloween Candy will all be a thing of the past!)

5.) Knowing that I am loved by God - Unconditionally. Realizing that when I mess up (and boy, did I EVER mess up today) that He loves me. He's there with His arms wide open, ready to embrace me and comfort me and tell me that it's all going to be okay as long as I continue to trust in Him. (sound familiar Dawna?) There is absolutely NOTHING that I can do or neglect that is going to separate me from His love. He - is awesome.

It is for freedom that Christ has set us free.
Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves
be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.
-Galations 5:1

Hi Deb!

Thanks for stopping by and introducing yourself as we do the "Sister-traveling-scarf-thing!" I think this is a great idea with a huge potential for FUN! I am looking forward to seeing all the different places the scarf ends up at! I already have a few ideas for the Dallas/Ft Worth area!

Earlier this year, the grand-daughter of our best friends did a Flat Stanley type project. We took her "mini me" to the Ft Worth Zoo, Dallas Stars Hockey Game, Texas School Book Depository and then out to Yosemite with us on our vacation. I took tons of fun pictures of all the places it had gone, even sitting next to me on the ski lift!

I haven't done geo-caching before. I know of several people who enjoy doing it though. I did come close though! A couple opf years ago, I was on a business trip with my Hub in San Francisco. When we finished up we drove to spend a week at Sequoia/Kings Canyond and Yosemite NP's. The very last day as we were exiting the park, we stood next to the Yosemite sign. I reached my hand behind it and felt something unusual. It was a film canister suspended from a wire and inside of it was something I can't remember anymore. At first I thought it was odd but after thinking about it some more, I think someone had left it there on purpose for someone to find! Needless to say, not wanting to ruin it for someone else, I left it there.

I enjoyed your hayride pictures. It looks like Fall in your neck of the woods. It got so warm yesterday I nearly turned on the A/C. It's supposed to get a bit cooler later in the week. I sure hope so, it feels like we've had summer forever! I'm ready to have some hot cider and a fire in the fireplace!
